Delete Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your "The Drying Sea" account and the data associated with it. The application is developed by Angelo Mazzilli ("the Developer", "ANMA Studio").

1. Reset Your Data Yourself, In-App

From the in-app Options screen, "Delete All Data" immediately resets your cloud game profile (Medaglie, talents, unlocked ships and maps, run statistics) to its default state. This does not require contacting us and takes effect immediately, but it does not delete your underlying Google Play Games / Firebase account identifier.

2. Request Full Account Deletion

To request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at: info@thedryingsea.com. Since Google Play Games Sign-In does not share your email address with us, please include in your message the display name shown next to your account icon in the game's header (top right), so we can identify your profile.

3. What Gets Deleted

Upon request, we permanently delete:

• Your game profile stored in our database (Cloud Firestore): Medaglie balance, purchased talents, unlocked ships and maps, and run statistics.

• Your authentication identity (the unique player ID, display name, and profile picture obtained via Google Play Games Sign-In).

What is retained: anonymous, aggregated usage data already collected via Google Analytics for Firebase (e.g. session counts) is not tied to your deleted profile and cannot be individually traced back to you, so it is not part of this deletion process — see our Privacy Policy for details on this data.

4. Processing Time

We process deletion requests and permanently remove every reference from our database within 30 days of receiving your request.
